Therefore, it is time for conspirator news and backlashes from hired crowd to end. For the past few months, the Ventriglias have started a new tactic. They have been constantly trying to defame Dr. Mahtani at the court. While he has been blamed for not paying up share amounts, other defamation tactics included blaming him for arm-twisting another shareholder for personal gains. To this, Dr. Mahtani has clearly defended himself by saying that since he is the majority shareholder of the factory, he does not require arm-twisting or threatening any of the shareholders. These illegitimate tactics by the Ventriglias could be seen only because they have been unsuccessful in bringing any relevant documents to support their claim.
The case between Dr. Mahtani owned Finsbury Investment and the Ventriglias is a decade old now, as a result of the lack of action from the Lusaka High Court. The case was started when Dr. Mahtani claimed that his company, Zambezi Portland Cement, was illegally taken over by the Ventriglias. When this case was approached at the HC, the Ventriglias claimed that the shares owned by Dr. Mahtani were not paid for. However, the same cannot be held true as Dr. Mahtani has clearly presented documents and evidences indicating his investment in the Zambezi share capital as well as investment for the growth and development of the factory. These investments are more than USD 8 million dollars. Furthermore, the company was started as joint venture project in which Dr. Mahtani has been considered as the sole joint venture partner in written consent. All these evidences clearly indicate that Dr. Mahtani is the legal owner of the factory.
